Since the 11R has a MIC input, this could also be used to reamp with a real amp. I suspect that given more time I'll learn how to get the levels right. I'm a novice at reamping (virtual or otherwise). You will probably notice that the levels are really hot as I did. Now press the PLAY icon to listen to the reamped track you just recorded. Press the the M button within Track 1 to mute it. Once you are finished recording press the STOP icon then the REWIND icon. This is the sound you are going to use to REAMP the DRY track.ĩ) In reaper Track 1 click on M to UNMUTE track.ġ0) In Reaper click on TRACK, INSERT NEW TRACK, Click on the red 'o' to arm the track for recording.ġ1) In Reaper click on OPTIONS, PREFERENCES, DEVICEġ2) Click on the INPUT arrow within the track to select STEREO if you want stereo.ġ3) Now press the big red 'o' button to record your reamped track. Today, I decided to figure this out and share the information.Ġ) Download and Install the drivers for 11R. Somehow, I was never able to get it working with REAPER although it was easy within Pro Tools. I've read other threads about virtual reamping. I haven't used mine for awhile but decided to dust it off today. I know.'Why a thread about 11R? It's ancient history.' But, for some people it's still a valid tool for recording, practicing, etc.
